Make sure you check with the dodcter first, that is probly the first thing. I’m not a docter, but since you did have surgery, you might want a C-section done. I have an Aunt who needed a C-section because her entire hips desinigrated and she has artifical hips right now, but yes, she did get pregnant,but the needed a C-section. She only had one child(After the first one she sorta lost the idea) but, if your DR okays it then I am sure you can. I’m pretty sure right now you can, but always check with a docter!

I am a nurse and I actually had a patient with pretty bad crohn’s who had the same thing. Her crohn’s was bad enough that she had to have fluid replacements and iv potassium/sodium/etc through her port 3 days a week. Anyway, the doctor said she would have no problem getting pregnant. She ended up choosing not to try because she still had the colostomy and her weight was really low. My point anyway is that if you’re otherwise healthy, there should be no reason you can’t get pregnant.

why didn’t you ask your doctor while you were getting ready for that major surgery? it seems wierd like that question didn’t come up when they always ask, “do you have any questions?” like a million times whenever anyone has major surgery. well, if you didn’t think of it at the time, you should really ask and check into it.

if i were you i would talk to your doctor.i dont think anyone here unless there a MD ,NURSE could answer that.Since you have to be in great shape for pg.God Bless and good luck
