I’m 19 and I’m having colostomy surgery this coming Friday. I’ve never had any major surgery before. I’ve only had a colonoscopy and upper GI which are not painful for me at all, the worst part was the IV, LOL. Is the surgery really painful? I’m afraid of waking up and not being able to stand the pain. Everything I’ve read on the internet is more matter of fact then what the experience is really like. Could anyone who’s has this done please tell me what it was like? Thanks in advance!
